Today, the last of February has been a very intense and active day. We
have started the day, as usual with our breakfast at 7.00 and then we did our
morning tasks cleaning our responsibility areas.
At 9.00 we had an interesting morning assembly with Selly about the history of St. Vincent. Only understanding the history of one country one is able to understand the life, the culture, the people and, finally, the direction of the development from that country.

After the assembly, we have started the different programs that each
student or group of students have had today. Some of us have been making
studies, such like English, maths, and preparing the presentations and exhibitions
about our investigations here for the exams in Denmark.
Other group has been doing practical work continuing cleaning the road
after the flooding in December when all the sand and mud from the mountains
blocked it.
After lunch the activity has continued with different activities: some
of the boys went to try for first time diving in the sea, of course with one
diving instructor that is hosted here at the Academy too.
Another group went to the beautiful village of Rosehall, the highest
village in St. Vincent. There they were drinking from coconut, walking around
the village and discovering the ideas that the people from the village have to improve
the rural tourism.
Finally, some of us stayed on the academy enjoying also a warm and nice
swimming on the beach, snorkelling and jumping from the big stones to the
water.
After dinner we have had a nice drum session with drummers from Rosehall,
we were listening and dancing the “music with message” that our friends brought
to us and with a positive and good attitude we are going to sleep now.
So.... good night from St. Vincent after another busy, interesting and very
good day in the Caribbean Island.
